| Reiki Symbols London |
Reiki
symbols are of a higher vibration and more
powerful .They help connect directly with
ourself and work on a deeper level. When
the specific purposes explained in class,
the experience of their energy allows intuitive
guidance in their use. Both levels are taught
during a weekend class. Reiki is transferred
to students by
Reiki Master Teachers through a series of
attunements. During an attunement process,
a series of symbols are sealed into the
person's energy field and they are given
an Angelic guide to assist them in channeling
the higher vibrations of energy. The attunement
process opens up an individual permanently
to the Reiki energy so that one can give
Reiki treatments to self and others. Reiki
has been traditional taught in three degrees
or levels and there is a specific attunement
for each degree of training.
First degree Reiki is primarily an etheric/physical
healing energy. It has a tremendous ability
to balance the chakras, remove negative
energy from a person's auric field, relieve
stress and heal the body in general
Second degree energy deals primarily with
healing the mental and emotional levels
of one's being. First degree energy is enhanced
and amplified at least four times, and one
is taught how to send the healing Reiki
energy over a distance as well as to other
points in time. Other advanced techniques
are taught that can facilitate deep emotional
healing, which is often the true cause of
dis-ease.
Third degree energy is of very spiritual
nature. It integrates all levels of one's
being and, as a result, initiates High Self
contact. Master/Teacher training provides
one with the ability to attune others and
teach Reiki I, II or III classes.
Upon completing the training, the student
will be able to practce, initiate and teach
both levels of Reiki Therapy.
In 1991 Kathleen was also initiated as a
Seichem Master and realised that the energy
is the same basic energy that the Higher
Being (a man dressed in orange robes with
an afro hair style) and the Masters had
given to her. She also realised that the
Seichem energy is the same as the lower
initiations for Sakara. Kathleen has been
told by the Masters to start a healing school
in order to pass on these rays of touch
healing to the world. With the reintroduction
of the full initiation procedures into Reiki
(as given to Kathleen by the Higher Being)
the colour of the attunement as well as
the energy that flows from the healers hands
changes immediately from purple to gold.
And so the story unfolds.
Welcome to the On-Line Seichim Training
and Activity Manual. This page is an overview
of the manual and the different areas to
be covered. Take your time and get confortable
with the symbols, meditations and materials.
This version of Seichim is sometimes called
7 Facet Seichim, Seichim Reiki or Renegade
Reiki. In this style of Seichim there are
7 Facets. In this course, each Facet is
covered seperately and there are activities,
healing practices, and meditations to be
done using Seichim at each Facet. Therefore
in each "level" in this Activity
Manual you will find exercises and meditations
using the Seichim 7 Facet Symbols and various
techniques. This will allow you, the student
of Seichim to experience the many varieties
and ways of using this energy
When reading this manual, it will become
apparent to the Reiki Practitioner that
the first three Facets of Seichim use the
Reiki Symbols. 7 Facet Seichim is a hybrid
art of both Seichim and Reiki. The 7 Facet
Seichim attunements are Seichim attunements,
using all the Seichim Symbols along with
the Reiki Symbols. It was taught to me that
even though the Reiki Symbols are used,
the manifestation of the energy and the
connection is Seichim.
The knowledge that an unseen energy flows
through all living things and is connected
directly to the quality of health has been
part of the wisdom of many cultures since
ancient times. The existence of this "life
force energy" has been verified by
recent scientific experiments, and medical
doctors are considering the role it plays
in the functioning of the immune system
and the healing process.
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction
and relaxation that allows everyone to tap
into an unlimited supply of "life force
energy" to improve health and enhance
the quality of life.
An amazingly simple technique to learn,
the ability to use Reiki is not taught in
the usual sense, but is transferred to the
student by the Reiki Master. Its use is
not dependent on ones intellectual capacity
or spiritual development and, therefore,
is available to everyone. It has been successfully
taught to thousands of people of all ages
and backgrounds.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing
radiance that flows through you and surrounds
you. Reiki treats the whole person including
body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates
many beneficial effects including relaxation
and feelings of peace, security, and well-being.
Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki
is a simple, natural, and safe method of
spiritual healing and self-improvement that
everyone can use.
Who introduced Reiki to the West, said the
word Rei means universal and this is the
definition most have accepted. However,
Mrs. Takata also indicated that this interpretation
is a very general one. The kanji ideograms
have many levels of meaning. They vary from
the mundane to the highly esoteric. So while
it is true that Rei can be interpreted as
universal, meaning that it is present everywhere,
this level of interpretation really doesn't
add to our understanding of Reiki.
Research into the esoteric meaning of the
Japanese kanji character for Rei has given
a much deeper understanding of this ideogram.
The word Rei as it is used in Reiki is more
accurately interpreted to mean supernatural
knowledge or spiritual consciousness. This
is the wisdom that comes from God or the
Higher Self. This is the God-Consciousness
which is all knowing. It understands each
person completely. It knows the cause of
all problems and difficulties and knows
what to do to heal them.
Reiki Symbols:
Reiki symbols are displayed in temples
in Japan and the power symbol is used as
a protective emblem. People do need to be
attuned to Reiki before they can use these
symbols to activate Reiki energy functions.
The use of these particular symbols to access
healing energies is specific to Reiki and
it does not require belief or practice of
any particular religion or philosophy.
The symbols are used to help people focus
to connect to Universal Energy. When you
have raised your own energy frequency sufficiently
you may no longer need to use the symbols
to connect with and use Reiki energy. The
power of Reiki does not rely on the symbols.
They may end up almost worshipping the symbols.
Symbols serve a purpose to connect with
the universal energy. It may in some cases
retard progress in rising to true proficiency.
You must develop the ability to use the
symbols; you can connect to Universal energy
directly by intention and may choose to
move away from always drawing symbols and
invoking the mantras mentally on every occasion.
The study of the symbols is very valuable
for spiritual evolution.
The Reiki master's attunements include automatically
the ability to use the Reiki functions with
or without using symbols consciously.
Traditional Japanese Reiki sources including
Master Hiroshi Doi refer to the symbols
and activate them by number and a name relevant
to their use.
Reiki Symbols commonly used:
• Focus: Power Symbol: Cho ku Rei
• Harmony: Mental & Emotional:Sei
he ki
• Connection: Distance:Hon sha ze
sho nen
• Empowerment: Master:Dai ku Myo
The names most used in the West are the
Mantra's that go with the symbol. The symbols
are only considered as tools and once mastered
need not be used.
1. FOCUS: The Power boost Symbol; Cho Ku
Rei
Cho ku rei (cho koo ray) (long o in cho)
is the Usui power boost mantra and symbol
to increase the power of Reiki. This energy
calls in higher universal energy and accelerates
Reiki from low to high and gives greater
power and focus to the energy. The primary
use of this Symbol is to increase Reiki
power. It draws Energy from around you and
it focuses it where you want to.
Power boost is used with the other energies
as well as by itself during all treatments
hands on or distance. This energy has been
used to clear rooms and crystals and to
charge food and water.
As a Buddhist term this refers to the nature
and organization of reality and to the emergence
of substance from the void of potential.
It is the all-purpose symbol. It can be
used for anything, anywhere; this symbol
is useful for spot treatments & to clean
negative energies. It’s a shelter
for Spiritual protection. It works on food,
water, medicine, herbs etc.It can be activated
in clinics, hospitals & the rooms where
addicted person, animal is present. It helps
in manifestation, empowers other Reiki Symbols
and seals energies after the treatment,
etc. If you wish to use the symbol to bring
Energy to yourself, reverse it.
2. HARMONY: The Mental and Emotional
Healing Symbol: Sei He Ki
The mental emotional healing function Usui
mantra is sei he ki (say hay key). The mental
emotional function is used to facilitate
emotional and mental healing and to assist
self programming and treating addictions
and habits. It is also used for mental &
emotional concerns. It works on the subconscious.
Some teachers use it on the first 4 charkas
only and some use it on all positions. It
helps to balance the right and left sides
of the brain, & often used for healing
unwanted habits.
It is used primarily for mental/emotional
healing and calming the mind, Psychic protection,
Cleansing etc. It aids to meditations to
activate Kundalini and removing addictions.This
is the best symbol for healing past traumas,
to clear emotional blockages and aligns
the upper chakras. It removes negative energies
and bad vibrations. Sei He Ki restores emotional
balance and harmony.
3. CONNECTION: The Distance Healing
Symbol: Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
The Usui distance function mantra is hon
sha ze sho nen (hawn shaw zay show nen).
It is used for sending the energies hands
off, for absentee healing and treating Issues
from the past. It is useful in Distant healing
which can bridge time and space, allowing
you to send healing energy across a room,
or around the world to heal past wounds.
The Distance energy attunement also gives
you the ability to use all the Reiki energies
for hands off treatments at any distance
at all. You can use this energy long distance
and to beam the energies to someone in the
room. This is especially useful in treating
children and animals, in treating yourself
on areas you can not reach.
This is the Distant Healing Symbol and it
is used to send Reiki over distance and
time (past, present, future), to anyone and
anything. It is also drawn when sending
a distant attunement.
4. EMPOWERMENT: The Spiritual Empowerment
or Master Symbol: Dai Ku Myo
Third Degree Reiki adds the mantra and symbol
Dai Ko Myo or dai ku myo (dye koo myo, (mm
yoh long o) to Self empowerment, Intuition,
Creativity and Spiritual connection. It
enables recognition and clarity about your
true path. It is used for opening Spiritual
connection and intuition and cellular healing
.It is good for treating yourself and others
each time you activate Reiki. It works at
the cellular and genetic levels and is valuable
for treating Migraine Headaches. It creates
intuitive and psychic awareness which can
be comfortably accessed. It is the most powerful
symbol in the Reiki group. It can be used
only by Reiki Masters. This symbol is used
to heal the soul. Since it deals with the
soul and our spiritual self it heals disease
and illness from the original source in
the aura/energy fields. It helps to provide
enlightenment and piece. It also allows
becoming more intuitive and psychic. With
practice this symbol brings profound life
changes.

Reiki is a Japanese form of healing that is becoming increasingly
popular worldwide. What makes Reiki unique is that it incorporates
elements of just about every other alternative healing practices
such as spiritual healing, auras, crystals, chakra balancing,
meditation, aromatherapy, naturopathy, and homeopathy.
Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient
to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself through the
balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring
and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It
is a holistic, natural, hands-on energy healing system that touches
on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing universal
life energy, the energy which is all around us. It is derived
from rei, meaning "free passage" or "transcendental
spirit" and ki, meaning "vital life force energy"
or " universal life energy".
What Is Reiki?
Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to
heal and harmonize. Unlike other healing therapies based on the
premise of a human energy field, reiki seeks to restore order
to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.
Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep
relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system,
provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy,
and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.
The laying of hands is used in Reiki therapy also as in spiritual
healing. There is a difference though. In spiritual healing, a
person with a strong energy field places his or her hands above
a particular part of the recipient's body in order to release
energy into it. So, here the healer is the one who is sending
out the energy. In Reiki, however, the healer places the hands
above the recipient; however, it is the recipient that draws the
energy as needed. Thus, in this case, the individual being healed
takes an active part in the healing process as opposed to having
a passive part in spiritual healing. The individual takes responsibility
for his or her healing. The recipient identifies the needs and
cater to them by drawing energy as needed.
Although there are a few positions in which the practitioner
is in contact with the patient (such as cradling the head), most
reiki treatments do not involve actual touching. The practitioner
holds his or her hands a few inches or farther away from the patient's
body and manipulates the energy field from there.
History of Reiki
Reiki is believed to have begun in Tibet several thousand years
ago. Seers in the Orient studied energies and developed a system
of sounds and symbols for universal healing energies. Various
healing systems, which crossed many different cultures, emerged
from this single root system. Unfortunately, the original source
itself was forgotten.
Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian educator in Kyoto, Japan,
rediscovered the root system in the mid- to late 1800s. He began
an extensive twenty-one-year study of the healing phenomena of
history's greatest spiritual leaders. He also studied ancient
sutras (Buddhist teachings written in Sanskrit). He discovered
ancient sounds and symbols that are linked directly to the human
body and nervous system which activate the universal life energy
for healing.
Usui then underwent a metaphysical experience and became empowered
to use these sounds and symbols to heal. He called this form of
healing Reiki and taught it throughout Japan until his death around
1893.
The tradition was passed through several grandmasters of reiki
such as Dr. Chujiro Hyashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto.
There are many forms of reiki being practiced now. The two principal
ones are: "the Usui System of Natural Healing" and "the
Radiance Technique."
The Usui System of Natural Healing balances and strengthens the
body's energy, promoting its ability to heal itself.
Reiki is useful in treating serious serious illnesses as well
as others. Examples are: sports injuries, cuts, burns, internal
diseases, emotional disorders, and stress-related illnesses.
Reiki was introduced to the Western world in the mid-1970s. Since
then its use has spread dramatically worldwide.
