Sekhem is an Egyptian word, which when translated into English means “Power of Powers”, in a spiritual manner.

Seichim is living light energy as well as an ancient Egyptian system of healing wisdom.

Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy.

Seichim and Reiki are 2 different healing systems that until recent years have been taught and used separately. Sekhem-Seichim Reiki is a unique combination of these 3 energies. This triangular mix of sacred healing energies balances and brings harmony to a person’s whole being.

Seichim refers to Patrick Zeigler’s (USA) early work with the healing energy he rediscovered. Different names, such as Isis Seichim, Seichem, Seichim, Sekhem and SKHM have sprung up and grown from the same seed. SKHM refers to Patrick’s current work, as well as the basic energy stream from which all related healing systems have arisen. The aspect of unconditional love is very much present.

SSR is an energy system that encompasses the full spectrum of electromagnetic frequencies available from the Source of ALL LOVE. Each of its three components plays a specific role that when combined with the others creates a unique synergy. Reiki anchors and grounds the healing vortex of the universal life force in the physical and subtle bodies and into the Earth. Reiki also assists in the early stages of opening the doorway or portal to accessing the many levels of one's higher nature. Where Reiki leaves off in this latter function, the multidimensional living light energy of Seichim takes over. Seichim dissolves barriers to the higher self, activates and strengthens the light body and opens and enhances one's connection to his or her angelic guides, the ascended masters and the Source of ALL LOVE.

As the energies of Heaven and Earth come together to spiral, dance and become One within the heart, Sekhem balances and merges the physical and subtle bodies, unifying all polarities including masculine and feminine. The lotus blossom of the unified heart chakra bursts open and unfolds, bringing forth the eternal golden blue-white flame of what some call the indwelling Christ Consciousness and the I Am Presence. Thus, SSR is a unity of trinity; a three-in-one and a one-in-three that creates unity in diversity, with the third (Sekhem) uniting the opposites (Reiki and Seichim).

Patrick Zeigler’s lineage comes down through Dr Usui – Dr Hayashi – Mrs Takata – Barbara Ray ( before the Radiance technique ) and himself. I have learnt this system from Richard Rivard ( Canada ), who learnt it from Patrick’s graduate, Tom Rigler (USA), a licensed master teacher for SKHM.

The Sekhem energies were channelled by Diane Ruth Shewmaker (USA) in 1997 after attending a Seichim workshop with Patrick Zeigler. She was guided to call this energy stream “Sekhem” and thus, the Sekhem-Seichim Reiki energy stream and healing matrix was created by her in June 1997.

Diane’s lineage comes down through Mrs Takata’s students, John Gray, and graduates of Phyllis Furumoto, Barbara Ray and Iris Ishikura. She trained as a Western Reiki Master with several Master teachers. She received her Seichim training from 1995 to 1996 with Liliana Kilgallen Shenk.

How is SSR taught?

This system can be taught in many ways. AT PRESENT, THIS COURSE IS OPEN TO REIKI MASTER TEACHERS ( LEVELS 3B OR 4 ) ONLY .
